From an idea to a brand.
They had an algorithm and a thesis. No platform yet, no name, and no round in motion — they were preparing for the conversations that come before a pre-seed raise. What they did not have was a face.
The gap mattered more than usual here. WeBeam sells to venture capital funds, accelerators and technology transfer offices — people who assess companies for a living and form a view fast. A platform asking investors to trust its judgment cannot look like it was assembled over a weekend.
The name came first.
A company without a name has nothing to hang a brand on, so that is where we started. Beam earns its place twice: it is a beam of light, vocabulary deeptech already speaks fluently, and it is a beam in the structural sense — the member that carries the load and holds a frame together.
That is precisely what the platform does with scattered scientific and commercial signals. Everything downstream — the mark, the language, the way the deck is built — followed from those two readings.
A name, a brand, and the first look at the product.
One system, built once, applied everywhere — and handed over in a form the team can run without us.

One story, in front of the people who decide.
WeBeam walked into its first pre-seed conversations with a name, a story and a product people could see — in front of exactly the audience it sells to. The brand book gave the team a shared reference instead of a folder of competing files.
And because the system shipped machine-readable, new material gets made by the team itself: a post, a slide, a one-pager, generated on-brand in an afternoon without coming back to us. That was the point. A brand that needs its agency present to stay consistent is not finished.
